My first encounter with the world of wine was at one of the best wineries in the Penedès, Can Ràfols dels Caus. It was love at first sight: the 16th-century amazing and unique Catalan farmhouse, the modern winery completely integrated in the mountain, and the wines of the highest quality captivated me, and my life changed thereafter. I consider myself fortunate to have been able to study, practice, and work simultaneously, which facilitated my understanding of the entire wine industry and enabled me to progress professionally. I transitioned from being just a simple wine guide to becoming the head of the winery's wine tourism department.

A decade ago, wine tourism was just emerging in wineries, and I witnessed its inception and subsequent evolution over the years. Adapting to the evolving needs of clients is crucial in this field. After some time (6 years) at my first winery, I sought new challenges and joined another company in the sector, specializing in sparkling wine production, Recaredo. I spent over four years in the wine tourism department of this esteemed company, known for its purist approach and unwavering commitment to crafting sparkling wines. Working there enhanced my professional skills as I absorbed new information and experiences.

However, working for someone else often imposes limits. While the position offered security, stability, good pay, and favorable conditions, I craved more. I yearned to create, to push boundaries, and to develop a diverse, dynamic, and unconventional approach to wine tourism. This idea has been brewing within me for years, and I believe the time is right to pursue it.  I am eagerly anticipating the opportunity to do what I love most and to share my passion for the infinite world of Penedès wineries with those who are eager to explore it.
