This is our TOP tour, where you will visit a century-old sparkling producer and a modern winery hidden inside the mountain. We'll discover a historic winery where traditional sparkling winemaking methods are still employed and enjoy their exclusive sparkling considered the best in Spain.
Additionally, we'll explore a unique modern art winery that is integrated with the landscape where innovation meets classic techniques, resulting in exceptional wines. We have chosen the best wine experience for you. We'll conclude our day with a Catalan-style lunch served in a beautiful private room in the family house dated from the XV century. For over a century, Recaredo has remained steadfast in its commitment to crafting terroir-driven wines that authentically reflect the landscapes of the Alt Penedès region near Barcelona. Their exclusive focus is on producing vintage brut nature sparkling wines, each characterized by extended aging.
These sparkling wines embody a truly distinctive style, combining elegance and subtlety. At Recaredo, every stage of our winemaking process – from the vineyards to the winery and cellars – undergoes rigorous auditing and certification by the independent verification body Bureau Veritas. This meticulous approach underscores their unique dedication as grape growers and winemakers.

About the winery:
It’s a project that maintains the essence of its creator — a fight for the invisible — to bet on what we don’t perceive, but we know exists and that leads us to produce noble, elegant, authentic and differentiated wines with the aim of exciting the people who taste them. For this reason, the team of Can Ràfols dels Caus not only fights for the invisible, taking into account the production of the different wines, but also does it in terms of values and awareness.
So much so that, otherwise, where today they can find an idyllic natural setting that is the cradle of their vineyards, they would find an arid area devoid of life and on the verge of becoming a cement quarry. This land was able to be saved thanks to Carlos Esteva who, resorting to the right of first refusal, saved the farm from the environmental disaster it was headed for.
